Advertiser’s Guide
Copy Deadline
- Final copy must be submitted by the 15th of each month, for inclusion in the following month’s edition (which will be distributed during the first week of the month.)
Payment
- Invoices will be raised when the magazine is published for payment within 7 days.
- Payment can be made by:
- Cheque, payable to ‘The Canford Heath Link’
- Direct Bank Payment
- Longer packages can be paid monthly by standing order
- Cash
VAT
- Canford Heath Link is a small independent operation and is not registered for VAT. Consequently, no VAT is charged on adverts
Acceptable Formats
- Adverts can be submitted in the following formats:
- PDF
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Publisher
- TIFF
- JPEG
- MS Word
- Ad copy can be e-mailed to: canfordheathlink@talktalk.net
- If your ad is not available in an electronic format then we can produce it for you, from your own hard copy text, normally for a fixed price of just £10, although this may be higher if you have a particularly complex ad!
(This is a one-off charge – the ad can then be re-used in subsequent issues free of charge)
Distribution
- The Canford Heath Link is published and distributed monthly, during the first week of the month.
- The Canford Heath Link is delivered to approximately 5200 homes in Canford Heath – on a bi monthly basis i.e. half of Canford Heath one month and the other half the next.
Marketing Tips
Make your advert as eye catching as possible and include any logos or wording that customers will relate to your company.
In order to gauge the success of an advert, include an incentive to attract potential customers. This may be in the form of a voucher or a reference to quote for a discount to apply.
A package of adverts will have more impact than a single advert and customers are more likely to remember your name if they require your product or services in the future. Packages are also much better value for money. |
